A New Hue for the iPhone 16 Pro Max: Unveiling the Stunning Rose Gold Design

All previous rumors have been proven wrong: The latest rose gold color on the iPhone 16 Pro Max will have a brand new look!

Recent rumors about the iPhone 16 Pro / Pro Max suggested that Apple would be removing the Blue Titanium color option used on the iPhone 15 Pro / Pro Max, and replacing it with a new rose gold or gold option. According to the latest leaks, the newest color for this year’s Pro line will be a copper or bronze-like hue.

What will the new Rose Gold iPhone 16 Pro Max look like?

Specifically, a leak from the Weibo account “Fixed focus digital” suggests that the new color of the iPhone 16 Pro Max will look similar to “copper”, with a titanium-like frame.

Earlier in July, another Chinese leaker claimed that the new color name for the iPhone 16 Pro / Pro Max will simply be “Rose”, not the “Rose Gold” shade that Apple offered for the iPhone 6S back in 2015.

It’s possible these two leaks are referring to the same color, but observed under different lighting conditions. Notably, the leaker only mentioned the new color for the “iPhone 16 Pro Max”, but it’s likely this will also be an option for the regular Pro model.

Back in May, some renders of a Pink iPhone 16 Pro from the Instagram account “AppleTechIG” had created a lot of excitement among iPhone fans. However, according to the latest leaks, this may not be the color Apple ends up using for the iPhone 16 Pro / Pro Max this year.

The other colors expected to be available on the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max this year include Black, White (or Silver), and Gray (or “Natural Titanium”).

Will Apple use a new finishing process for the iPhone 16 Pro Max?

Another rumor suggests that Apple plans to use an improved finishing process to achieve a more glossy titanium-like appearance, rather than the aluminum finish used on previous iPhone 15 Pro / Pro Max models. This glossy finish could resemble the stainless steel look Apple has used in the past, but with improved scratch resistance.

Apple typically releases new iPhone models in mid-September, so there are around six weeks left until the iPhone 16 series launch. Like the iPhone 15 series, this year’s lineup is expected to maintain four models, but the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will have slightly larger display sizes.
